The following portfolio is a representation of my undergraduate studies in architecture. The body of work is my interpretation of the assignments of the design studios that are given at SCI-Arc. As an aspiring architect and as a SCI-Arc student, I aim through my work to challenge the definition of successful contemporary architecture as of now. The restrictions and preferences set in the framework of assignments, and the pressure of the unspoken internal competition accompanying project implementation from the initial phase of concept design to the model production, make it particularly difficult maintaining creative and ideological identity and vision. This mind-set closely relates to my student work at SCI-Arc. Within my projects I enjoy taking risks and going against the flow, thus, enhancing my learning experience. I thoroughly enjoy architectural experiments, I truly believe in the power of conceptual design and accessibility of architecture. I see the recipe for a good architectural project consisting of two principal ingredients: a well thought out concept combined with visually aspiring project.
